"joys"

Ugh.  Ugh.  This blog is a way for me to express the joys or should I say "joys" of being a confused woman in the middle of life.  I have decided I could vent via Facebook or other social media, but that becomes far too personal.  One little post about my 16 year old driving me nuts, and I have 30 people trying to give me advice, and seriously, all I wanted was a little - Hey, my kids drive me nuts too.  Who needs a rambling lecture about _"Who is in charge?  Take her cell phone away! Make a rule about family time."  Seriously, minus a few smart mouth comments and a lazy attitude about getting out of bed on a summer morning, and I've got the poster child for doing something right with a teenager.  Yet, she will still drive me crazy.  Isn't that the way it is supposed to be?
